Hello everyday !

Were you also one of those who felt like the last week hit you in the middle of nowhere like the recoil of a cannonball? If so, you're not alone!


The holidays are over and the glorified thought that it will be good to have the kids back at school after 8 weeks off lasted about as long as the snooze on the alarm clock..😴
It's busy in June when the whole world is supposed to have some form of summer break squeezed into the same afternoons, but my goodness, what a pace the same group manages to get up to during the middle of August!🥵

Back to school, kindergarten, soccer, handball, gymnastics, parent-teacher conferences, shopping lists, timetables, match schedules, confirmation lessons...all this while walking around like a zombie because the alarm clock rings way too early and dinners consist of half-cooked spaghetti to make it to some workout...
-In June, at least you got a well-seared hot dog and a piece of cake (made by one of the invincible superheroes in the neighborhood..)😅🌭🍪

(Note to self: appreciate the chaos of June more. August comes around so fast!)

No matter how busy life may feel right now, it's all the more important to actually prioritize your own time💆🏻‍♀️ There's a reason why on a plane you have to put on your own oxygen mask before helping others, if you know what I mean💁🏼‍♀️

Without charging your own batteries, you also have less to give🧘🏻‍♀️🔌🔄

Many people feel that a power nap is what is needed to get more energy in everyday life, but if you look at it a little bigger, it is important to treat yourself to a little more than 15 minutes (with a guilty conscience..) on the couch before you have the energy to do the dishes🥱😵‍💫

Recharging yourself with energy can be so many things, and no matter what works for you, the most important thing is that you actually do it🤩👊🏻

  • Morning coffee alone on the lake before work, or maybe an afternoon on the lake with a good friend?
  • A jog in the rain with great music on your ears
  • A trip to the field in search of mushrooms
  • A cooling dip in the sea followed by a sauna
  • Yoga in a quiet place out in nature
  • Sitting on a mountaintop watching the sunset
