About us
Saltråk AS is a newly established company in 2020.
A result of a world in "lock down" where imagination and creativity have been allowed to flourish. A spring where the importance of freedom to be out in the open has been underestimated.
Countless trips at sea with a strong desire to share the experience with so many more people on a level higher than social media.
We wanted to spread the joy of paddling, the nature experience, the training and the therapy to all those who sat at home with longing in their eyes while they scrolled on Instagram - and thought they had to settle for pictures.
With several years of experience paddling on many different boards, and with relatively good control over what was missing on the Norwegian SUP market, the process began.
The Saltråk SUP is a board produced according to a need that will satisfy most requirements. With a focus on buoyancy, progress and appearance, the promo was ordered and tested. We are looking forward to seeing Saltråk SUPs scattered around the country and hope that the board and the paddling will give you all the same joy, nice nature experiences and good memories as it has done for us recently.
Spring 2020 writes itself into the history books in many ways, but for us we also note in the side margin that Saltråk Stand Up Paddle became a reality!
